BIG JUOGI LIVES HERE
Sharon Achieng Alai aka MC Sharon is an interdisciplinary musical artist, a scholar and a polymath based in Nairobi, Kenya.
The rap crooner and producer is also known as Decibelle the goddess of sound, Alshaverb Mama Yao or Achieng Ajuoga — the Oracle of Muhoroni Town.
Achieng Ajuoga is her is indigenous esoteric imprint and she is the first to ever incorporate the term 'Ajuoga' before her maiden Luo name in a creative capacity as a musician, a producer, a published author and as a cultural aficionado with extensive experience in the game.
She is an embodiment of raw, gritty unapologetic lyricism and her work encapsulates poetry, spoken word hip hop, big beats, live instrumentals, afro fusions and nostalgic melodic arrangements which when fused together create a magical ensemble that's pleasing to the ears and awakening to the soul.
Her themes include championing representation of women in artistic spaces in her capacity as one of the few female producers and a multilingual musician who also happens to be one of the few women who can rap comfortably in her vernacular Luo language.
