40107 is code for Muhoroni township thus this album is a celebration of my hometown and Kisumu county by extension. This album is also a celebration of my growth and my journey as MC Sharon, Alshaverb, Decibelle and now Achieng Ajuoga the Oracle of Muhoroni Town. Rebirthed and rebranded fourfold I am coming home to myself first and foremost. I am coming home to my diligent inner child. I am coming home to the future that I have built intentionally; in my dreams, my visions and affirmations and also in my day to day life. This album is also celebration of the vernacular hiphop that rolls so effortlessly off my tongue. I am multilingual and I can speak several languages; but never have I been as comfortable with my craft as I am right now. It's a bit ironic though. Looking back at the days when I'd be forced to speak through my nose to avoid being made fun of in school, or when I was being called 'mshamba' for being too in touch with my mothertongue, I can't help but laugh out loud.

Jambetre Ngolo is Luo for Musical Ambassador and this 10 track offering epitomizes the beginning of MC Sharon's journey into the ethnomusicological realm. This is the first of at least 7 projects which have been created this year; featuring a fresh multilinguistic, sound which blends the unapologetic hip hop flows that she is traditionally known for with afrobeats, ambient music, afro fusion and enigmatic lakeside vibrations. All roads lead home with Jambetre Ngolo and MC Sharon performs her music in Luo and Agikuyu in addition to English and Swahili. From 'Muhoroni' which is an ode to the sugarcane township she hails from, to 'Set me Free' which is talks about liberation from a toxic and dysfunctional relationship there's something in there for everyone.
